Welcome everyone, to Hope Children's Centre!
Hope Children’s Centre was founded in Likoni, Mombasa (Kenya) by Emily Oroni in January of 2010. I had the privilege of working there as a volunteer teacher from March to June 2010.
In the summer of 2010, Emily and I decided to build a new Hope Children’s Centre – a bigger, better building that, most importantly of all, belongs to us. Our aim is to take in more children from the local area whose parents cannot afford to pay for their education, and to give them a pleasant, well-equipped learning environment.
Since then, building work the school has grown and thrived, financed by myself and various generous donors, and co-ordinated by Mrs Oroni and her husband, Samwel. Our mission is to provide affordable, quality education for as many kids as possible in the Likoni area.
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE HELPED US GET THIS FAR.
